Canary Islands

 

Last year I read the book "Metodología y práctica de la Biogeografía" (Guillermo Meaza), where they gave the Canary Islands as an example (since the islands have very incredible vegetation floors). I found it very interesting, so I would like to visit the Canary Islands in Spain.

My weekend it was un interesting, becouse only I worked and I was to vote. Therefore, I talk about the last week, from tuesday and thursday. In those days I trekked trought the mountain range of the Ñuble region. I traveled from Santiago to the borough San Fabián de Alico. In that place a Land Rover (from de year 1977) picked me up. The vehicle went up a mountain that had forest. There was the campsite. There I stayed two nights.

The place was very beautiful. There were many species of trees, such like (spanish name) hualo, raulí, roble (hualle), lenga, ñirre, coigüe, mañío de hojas largas, mañío de hojas cortas, avellano chileno, canelo, ciprés de la cordillera, among others. Also, there was many birds and fungus.

My first travel to Magallanes

I'm from Los Ríos region (50 kilometers of Valdivia). Howeber, the Magallanes region is very far away. Between San José de la Mariquina (Los Ríos) and Punta Arenas (Magallanes) there 1550 kilometers in a straight line. 

My first travel to Magallanes was when I had three years old only. It was my first time in a airplane. I liked these travel a lot. Make these travel for earth is very long, because are three days. In airplane lasts two hours only, but the airport been in Puerto Montt (three hours on car haha). It is my earliest memory. 

We visited the municipal cemetery. It is most beautiful cemetery that I saw in my life. It has cute tree and gardens. Too, we visit the Bulnes fort and the town of the city.

I have a aunt in the city. She has a supermarket: San Sebastián. In her supermarket there was very delicius food and sweets. I was very happy.

In the strait of Magellan had been wind a lot. 

I took this image during the year before, from the Manquehue mountain, on a cloudy day. However, during the dusk there was a clearing in the sky that iluminated tall seccions of some mountains of Los Andes. I saw to the west, but my friends, two partners of geography, told me to run and see the east. In these moment I took this image.

The second photography is more artistic and minimalist. I took in the year before, in the Huentelauquén dunes (in the Choapa valley). In the edition I adjustmen the symmetry and the colors. The birds are "bandurrias"

 

My main hobby is to go trekking and take photos to the nature. Since that I am a small boy I like this hobbies. I think that every day I like more.

When I go to the mountain I make my two hobbies. Therefore, I wear my outdoor shoes, my trekking pants, my jacket and my camera. In general I practice my hobby during my vacations, because I have my jobs, therefore, I am very busy.

I enjoy my hobby, because I really like the nature and the plants.

The adults are talking

 

The song is called "The adults are talking", because, according to critic, this song is about those whom has global power. Is about empresarial practice, world to wich belong to the singer. He is member of millonaire family. But I think that is about the bad relationship of adolescents with your parents. I can not fint the connect with those whom has global power.

I listened to the song during the lockdown in 2020. I listened to it time and time again. In this moment I am very good with my parents.

I like it, becouse symbolise a period of my adolescence. In this time I argued with my parents a lot.

I listen to song while I walking to at University or my work.

My firts English class

In the firts class of English III we ask eight questions. The firts questions is "what is your name?" and the second questions is "where are you from?". I'm Juan Pablo. My father is Jaime Cares and my mother is Sylvia Monsálvez, because of this my last name is Cares Monsálvez. I from San José de la Mariquina in Los Ríos region, but I live in Santiago because I study here. I'm student of geography in Universidad de Chile. I am twenty nine years old (thirth question). The questions number four is "what's hobbies do you have?". My mean hobbie is doing to trekking, becouse I like see diferents plants and flowers. The other questions are "where did spend the summer?", "do you have special talent?", "wich foreing country do you like to visit" and "what is your favourite chilean meal". This summer I spent in Santiago (working), Alerce Costero National Park, Argentina and Uruguay. My special talent is to play the piano. I like to know the Amazon river in Peru and Brasil, and my favorite meal is "pastel de choclo".
