The last blog post

The blog that most enjoyed writing was "My firts travel to Magallanes", because I had to remember things far away in time. The blog that liked the least to write was about the Canary Islands because I couldn't find the right words to express that. The blog I enjoyed reading the most was the one about "Dr. Who", because I thought it could be very entertaining and I had never heard it in my life.

My level of English is very basic, but I feel taht I retained at least one word per class. Therefore I have improved. 

I liked is that I could revise the grammar and vocabulary. I did not like was that everything was very difficult.

Profesor Rosa

Today I talk about a TV programme "El mundo del Profesor Rosa". The programme was about nature, but mainly about wild fauna. The main characters were "Don Carter", "Guru Guru" y the "Profesor Rosa". When I was a child it was my favorite show. Don Carter was the postman, who visited the house of the Profesor Rosa; Guru Guru was a messenger bird adoptad by the Profesor Rosa and could not speak well; and the Profesor Rosa was the main character, who explained to us what the natural world was like. 

The programme was broadcast every Saturday afternoon and the plot taht look place at the Profesor Rosa's house was very funny. The show ended when I was eight years old. My saturdays were never the same again. The show was expeptionally good for me. I was looking forward to it all week. No show could ever make up for that loss.

The Profesor Rosa's house had a secret cellar under the stairs and I was very excited when they entered, because it was dark and had many surprises, like a laboratory and machines.

La Pancha

 Today I talk about my friend "la Pancha". She lives in Canela Baja, Coquimbo region. She is my same age.We have knrown each other for many years, when we were both history Bachelor's. His mom had an agreement at work, so we could go to the movies for only a thousand pesos. We went every day and we even repeated movies. Also, we both like history and nature, so we can spend hours and hours talking about our interests. She has traveled many times to my house, in the south of Chile, and I have traveles many times to her house. On these trips, wich we do every year, we take advantage of knowing the flora of the place and visiting historical places.

Canary Islands

 

Last year I read the book "Metodología y práctica de la Biogeografía" (Guillermo Meaza), where they gave the Canary Islands as an example (since the islands have very incredible vegetation floors). I found it very interesting, so I would like to visit the Canary Islands in Spain.

My weekend it was un interesting, becouse only I worked and I was to vote. Therefore, I talk about the last week, from tuesday and thursday. In those days I trekked trought the mountain range of the Ñuble region. I traveled from Santiago to the borough San Fabián de Alico. In that place a Land Rover (from de year 1977) picked me up. The vehicle went up a mountain that had forest. There was the campsite. There I stayed two nights.

The place was very beautiful. There were many species of trees, such like (spanish name) hualo, raulí, roble (hualle), lenga, ñirre, coigüe, mañío de hojas largas, mañío de hojas cortas, avellano chileno, canelo, ciprés de la cordillera, among others. Also, there was many birds and fungus.

My first travel to Magallanes

I'm from Los Ríos region (50 kilometers of Valdivia). Howeber, the Magallanes region is very far away. Between San José de la Mariquina (Los Ríos) and Punta Arenas (Magallanes) there 1550 kilometers in a straight line. 

My first travel to Magallanes was when I had three years old only. It was my first time in a airplane. I liked these travel a lot. Make these travel for earth is very long, because are three days. In airplane lasts two hours only, but the airport been in Puerto Montt (three hours on car haha). It is my earliest memory. 

We visited the municipal cemetery. It is most beautiful cemetery that I saw in my life. It has cute tree and gardens. Too, we visit the Bulnes fort and the town of the city.

I have a aunt in the city. She has a supermarket: San Sebastián. In her supermarket there was very delicius food and sweets. I was very happy.

In the strait of Magellan had been wind a lot. 

I took this image during the year before, from the Manquehue mountain, on a cloudy day. However, during the dusk there was a clearing in the sky that iluminated tall seccions of some mountains of Los Andes. I saw to the west, but my friends, two partners of geography, told me to run and see the east. In these moment I took this image.

The second photography is more artistic and minimalist. I took in the year before, in the Huentelauquén dunes (in the Choapa valley). In the edition I adjustmen the symmetry and the colors. The birds are "bandurrias"
